Cooperative arrangement to contribute to strengthening the development of Vietnam’s capital market.
On October 16, in Hanoi, the T&T Group and the BNK Financial Group, which is among the top 10 largest financial institutions in South Korea, signed a cooperative agreement to officially establish a partnership in the field of finance in Vietnam.
The two will jointly promote and expand investment and capital financing activities in Vietnam based on each side’s values and advantages. The T&T Group, with leading multi-field business capacity in Vietnam, and the BNK Financial Group, specializing in the financial sector, will combine and commit to actively supporting each other towards reaching the common goal of establishing a leading position in Vietnam’s financial sector.
They will also cooperate to jointly seek and exploit investment cooperation opportunities in the financial ecosystem through the establishment of joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other forms of partnership consistent with their strengths and goals.
The two will also share knowledge, practical experience, and technical expertise to improve the capacity and promote the creativity of their subsidiaries. They have also committed to jointly exploiting capital mobilization strategies for social infrastructure projects with the participation of Vietnamese and South Korean companies to ensure the ability to finance sustainable capital sources.
Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the T&T Group’s Strategy Committee, believes that with close cooperation and clear strategies, the two sides will achieve their goals and become leading financial corporations in the country, region, and world. “The two sides are cooperating based on mutual trust and long-term, effective, and sustainable development, and will contribute to the economic development of the two countries,” he said.
With a diverse financial ecosystem, including banks, securities companies, and asset management companies, etc., the cooperation between the two leading economic and financial corporations of the two countries will contribute to strengthening the position of businesses and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s capital market.
Mr. Bin Dae-in, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the BNK Financial Group, has high hopes for cooperating with the T&T Group. “The signing of the cooperation agreement today will be the foundation for a solid cooperative relationship and a valuable connection for economic relations between South Korea and Vietnam, based on mutual trust in the future.”
In the current context of declining growth and economic recession, the cooperation between the T&T Group and the BNK Financial Group expresses the efforts of both businesses in finding new opportunities and conditions for cooperation with development prospects.
The signing of the cooperative agreement is also an important milestone, officially making the T&T Group the first partner the BNK Financial Group has chosen to sign such an agreement with in its roadmap to expand its global business activities.
