P&G Vietnam, Saigon Co.op renew clean water initiative

May 7, 2024

P&G Vietnam and Saigon Co.op have renewed their commitment to providing clean drinking water to communities in need across Vietnam.

The collaboration is part of P&G Global’s 20th anniversary of the “Clean Drinking Water for Children” program and Saigon Co.op’s 35th founding anniversary.

“Since its inception in 2004, our program has provided over 21 billion liters of clean water globally,” said Claudine Zukowski, global senior director of P&G’s program.

From April 25 to May 29, 2024, consumers can support this initiative by purchasing P&G products at Saigon Co.op locations nationwide. Each purchase contributes one day’s worth of clean drinking water to families in need.

A Saigon Co.op representative said, “This year, we aim to donate 3.5 million liters of clean water through the program.”

Since 2016, the initiative has already provided over 90 million liters of clean water to nearly 600,000 people in Vietnam.
