Vietnam’s Tiki appoints new CEO amid growing competition

Vietnamese ecommerce company Tiki has appointed Richard Trieu Pham as its new CEO, according to local media reports. He replaces founder Tran Ngoc Thai Son, who will move to serve as chairman.

Pham initially joined Tiki in 2019 as CFO and president. Currently, he oversees the development of the comapny’s fintech and insurtech segments as well as its Ticketbox platform, which the company acquired in 2019.

According to a release issued by Tiki, the appointment of two new leaders is part of the human resource strategy to retain and attract talented, conscientious and visionary people of the enterprise.

With the position of General Director of the Company TikiNow Logistics (TNSL), Ms. Vu Thi Nhat Linh was selected thanks to her experience in many important executive positions. Linh has joined Tiki since 2015, is the leader of the implementation and development of the e-commerce platform in the period of 2018-2022. She also holds the position of Deputy General Director of TikiNow Logistics, in charge of supply chain systems, warehouses, delivery and after-sales, from 2022.

Ms. Vu Thi Nhat Linh assumes the position of General Director of TikiNow Logistics (TNSL).

In addition, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thai Son, founder of Tiki also takes on a new role – Chairman of the board of Tiki Global Pte.Ltd from today.
